Hi @rahbadev 👋, Thank you for posting in the GitHub Community! I understand you're experiencing an "Invalid payment method - authorization hold failed" error when trying to test GitHub Copilot. This error typically occurs when GitHub attempts to place a temporary authorization hold on your credit card to verify it's valid before activating your Copilot subscription, but the hold is being declined by your bank or card issuer. In India, you can't hold without OTP verification. I don't see any otp here. |

Considering the amount of people having the exact same problem as I am right now one just has to assume github wants or needs no new customers, same issue, enough funds, no restrictions on my card to be found yet github says invalid payment method and blocks me from usin copilot, even though I made a 61 dolar online payment for excess usage with the exact same card today! Gues I'll have to look for another agent provider! |

Hey I'm experiencing the same issue here. Balance is enough, payment details are fine but the payment itself never gets through. Card works fine in other merchant. I think there is an issue with the internal fraud detection stuffs Github had. Anyone at Github should take some time to check. This is a serious problem. Asking users to use other cards is not a solution. |
