Your config doesn't look like the cause. The schedule event isn't firing at all, and only GitHub can check why from its side. A false There are two likely explanations, but neither is confirmed:
I'd stop changing the workflow and check If you need it running on time in the meantime, trigger it from an external cron service using a fine-grained token with Actions write access: curl -X POST \

Discussion Details
Please help determine why GitHub has not created any schedule-triggered runs for this public repository. The root cause is unconfirmed; we do not have evidence that the cron syntax is invalid or that an account restriction is responsible.
Evidence checked on 2 November 2026, approximately 16:30 IST (11:00 UTC)
Expected timing
Every five minutes during daytime hours in Asia/Kolkata, currently 10:02 through 21:57 IST. Enumeration of all three UTC cron expressions produces 144 distinct slots in this window. The checks occurred during that window.
The first version used a normal five-minute all-day cron; later versions restricted the hours and offset minutes. No schedule event has appeared in the repository's run history for any version observed so far.
Working manual path
Troubleshooting already completed
No further speculative workflow edits are planned until there is new evidence. Please advise which repository/account/scheduler condition could explain the complete absence of schedule events, or whether GitHub can inspect schedule registration internally.

A new public repository showed successful manual/push runs but no schedule
events despite active workflows and several cron changes. A later commenter
reported that scheduled runs eventually began, with roughly eight hours
between repository creation and the first observed scheduled run. This is a
community observation, not a documented activation period or confirmed cause
for this repository.

The accepted January 26, 2026 response described a rolled-back GitHub-side
change and advised a default-branch commit to resynchronize affected schedules.
That incident-specific advice does not establish the same incident today.
This repository already has subsequent default-branch merges. Later replies
also report irregular or missing schedule events and an external-dispatch
workaround; none proves a guaranteed fix for the current repository.
These discussions show similar symptoms, not a confirmed diagnosis. Please advise
whether the current repository has an activation/registration problem or another
condition GitHub can inspect. We are not requesting further trial-and-error cron
changes without new evidence.
